Inspired by various playful photographs of fireworks on Pinterest I decided to try and experiment with sparklers! Shooting fireworks can be a bit tricky, especially in the dark and due timing and distance a bit of a pain to shoot clear pictures. Sparklers on the other hand are a lot easier to handle, especially placed in a glass jar.
I decided to wait till sundown to try and do some small tests to get my camera in focus. Using a tripod and playing around with my exposure I managed to get these amazing pictures! Settings used: f/5.6, exposure: 1 sec, iso: 100 and 72mm focal length. Due the sparklers explosive light and the short exposure it’ll create a really dark background almost like an indoor studioshoot!
